Translucent 1.7.1 For Windows
Note that Compose 1.7.1 requires Docker Engine 1.10.0 or later for version 2 of the Compose File format, and Docker Engine 1.9.1 or later for version 1.
If you're a Mac or Windows user, the Docker Toolbox will install Compose 1.7.1 for you, alongside the latest versions of Docker Engine, Machine and Kitematic.
Alternatively, you can use the usual commands to install or upgrade:

Meanwhile, search for the following locations to delete associated items:
- /Library/Preferences/
- /Library/Application Support/
- /Library/Caches/
Besides, there may be some kernel extensions or hidden files that are not obvious to find. In that case, you can do a Google search about the components for Translucent 1.7.1. Usually kernel extensions are located in in /System/Library/Extensions and end with the extension .kext, while hidden files are mostly located in your home folder. You can use Terminal (inside Applications/Utilities) to list the contents of the directory in question and delete the offending item.
4. Empty the Trash to fully remove Translucent 1.7.1
